As Vincent’s turns 40, the emphasis remains on family be it owners, employees or customers

Vincent’s Restaurant & Pizzeria, one of Vero Beach’s most enduring family restaurants, just celebrated 40 years of making memories. Although it has expanded into surrounding units, the restaurant still occupies the original space from when it opened and remarkably has retained some of its original staff and many of its regular customers dating back to 1978.

When I began writing this dining column 10 years ago, Vincent’s Ristorante on Miracle Mile had just celebrated its 30th anniversary. Somehow, in the years since, we never got around to reviewing it. We would stop there from time to time to take home a Sicilian pizza after learning through word-of-mouth that its thick, almost focaccia-like crust is the best in the area.
